THE BOOK OF REVELATION

This is a 4 week course starting Sept. 1st and ending Sept. 22nd.

This course provides an opportunity for students to study the book of Revelation according to the historical context in which it was originally written. Too many contemporary prophetic teachers have sought to discover what the book “means” rather than first understanding what it “meant.” In contrast, this course will focus its efforts on time-tested hermeneutical principles to provide a sound and stable foundation for understanding the book’s primary message: The “revelation” of Jesus Christ! More than merely an exegetical examination of the book, this course seeks to place each student in an atmosphere where they will encounter the living God through each chapter and verse. Additionally, the course will examine the different viewpoints and approaches that scholars have used throughout the history of the church to uncover the book’s meaning.
